When you’re living an eco-friendly life, you want to be as sustainable as possible. This means purchasing sustainable products so you’re not forced to constantly buy new things. One of the easiest ways to use sustainable products is to buy reusable products. A lot of people are addicted to coffee and visit the coffee shop daily, if not, every day. So it would only be logical to purchase reusable coffee cups if you’re one of those coffee drinkers. Another big issue, now we’re talking about drinking, is straws. There are a number of companies which are banning plastic straws because they’re harmful to the ecology. This is because they usually end up in the sea in some way or another. So whilst we’re at it, why not buy reusable straws?
There are a ton of things which can be reused to be sustainable. Even toilet paper! Recycled toilet paper is made out of recycled paper fibres, bamboo or sugarcane. By buying recycled toilet tissue, you’ll not only be saving trees but you’ll also reduce carbon emission while you’re at it! If you purchase recycled toilet paper from ‘who gives a crap’, that’s really what the company is called we’re not kidding, you’ll also be donating to WaterAid who builds toilets for those in need. Another sustainable product I love is Tupperware. Instead of putting everything in plastic bags when I’m making portions and putting them into the freezer, I use Tupperware which has a long lifespan and I can use over and over again.
