I wouldn’t say it’s eco friendly at all. It may sounds positive at first to say that using almond milk instead of the traditional cow milk would reduce carbon emissions. Milking cows actually makes them produce methane via their burps and that’s going up to the air which is not environmentally friendly at all. So people go to almond milk as an alternative. However, before 1 liter of almond milk may be produced, it can take up to 6000 liters of water. That’s amount may deplete water wells quickly than you can imagine if you have a large plantation of almond for mass production.
